NIJ Standard III and Custom AK-47
Our Steel Plates are capable of stopping multiple hits from 7.62mm X 51 mm (.308 caliber) FMJ and lesser threats such as AK-47/Kalashnikov 7.62 X 39 mm (FMJ). Our steel combination Hard Armor Plates provide all the protection you will find in Threat Level III steel plates, but at about 30% less weight. Our AK-47 plates protect against common threats at even less weight. With such protection our Steel Hard Armor Plates are the best valued hard armor plates on the market today.
